Gail's gone

Today comes the sad news that our friend and former partner, and a regular reader of this blog, Gail Achterman, has died. She was 62 years young. We've never met anyone else quite like Gail, and we doubt that we ever will. She did a lot of good for Oregon, and she never cared about getting rich doing it. She'll be missed.

Sorry for your loss, Jack.

Thanks, Bill. I've got a lot of company on this one.

Amen.

Condolences to all family.

Gail Achterman a true Oregonian as was former GOP State Rep Jeanette Hamby. Two HUGE losses this week for our state. IMHO.

Another great one leaving too early.

Aw, phooey. A real good egg. Gail did great work as the Governor of Oregon's assistant and advisor for natural resources and the environment '87-91, too.
