Much love for Gail

Our friend and former partner, Gail Achterman, is one of our favorite public figures in Oregon. Now she's revealed that she's got a serious illness to fight, and so she's stepping down from her civic life, at least for a while. We wish her all the best.

A great Oregonian! Not enough like her in public service. Principled and thoughtful. Oregon owes her a huge debt of gratitude for the length and quality of her service. Hope she beats it.
