Papa don't take no mess
Well, the Godfather of Soul, James Brown, got himself busted again. This time, he was pushing his wife around and throwing chairs in his house. Cooped up for a few days in an ice storm, he must have snapped.
To make matters worse, he was really disheveled when the police arrived, and his mug shot is appalling:

Wrong button. I'm sure that Mr. Spiffy, when he's not using his wife as a punching bag, supports the Right Reverend Al, his former road manager and bagman.

I wouldn't be surprised if James and Al are on the outs. Former employees of His Funkiness usually assert that he owes them money.
Plus, I'll bet you didn't know that Brown is actually employed by the Bush administration in the State Department. I am not making this up.

What's love got to do with it ? This takes Ike Turner off the hook. It's a man's world, ain't it funky now.The G.F.O.S is presumed innocent, so let him be.
Ask yourself where Tina would be without Ike's "motivational techniques". Remember, we never do things nice and easy, we do things nice and rough like we do proud Mary.
