Another Papal closet, another set of skeletons

Nobody's perfect, but the Catholic Church has gone for its leadership from the former Nazi youth to an apparent enabler of the Dirty War.

From the National "Catholic" Reporter, never a ultramontane source.

Definition of ULTRAMONTANE
1: of or relating to countries or peoples beyond the mountains (as the Alps)
2: favoring greater or absolute supremacy of papal over national or diocesan authority in the Roman Catholic Church

Wow, 6:30 a.m. Monday morning and I've already learned a cool new word.

If I understand this line of reasoning, since I am in opposition to the statist regime in Washington DC, where tens of thousands of unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats are leveraging the police power of the state to dictate how we must lead our lives, the only legitimate and moral response, free from critcism, would be to martyr myself to the cause. I get it.

In this case, it's a closet full of actual skeletons.

And Pope Francis is at odds with the current Pres of Argentina, and has been for some time as well, over the issues of birth control and gay rights.
I think he is no saint, even if he did name himself after one.
