It's a start
If the federal Budget Crisis du Jour isn't resolved, they tell us, a thousand Hanford cleanup workers will be laid off for six months. For all the good they're doing, we're sure we'd hardly notice. Can they take some Portland "planners" with them?

Ah, the good old Washington Monument strategy.

"Can they take some Portland "planners" with them?"
No, 'cause those are people they want.

It would be interesting to get a timeline of University programs and when the urban planning in our country really took hold?
It seems to have escalated.
It seems to fit in well with control aspects.

Tanks at Hanford leaking are not "news." Tanks have been leaking at Hanford since the '50s. Tanks at Hanford will be leaking for the next 10,000 years. They have been, and can be, replaced. This is all about the billions being spent on some pipedream of turning the gunk into glass and burying it. It ain't gonna happen. It's a waste of money.

So today on the radio while driving, I heard that they are doing evacuation plans up there because the leaking has gotten worse. Any comment on that?
