Blessed relief
There are a lot of icy roads around Portlandia tonight. We're not sure what, if anything, the city is doing to make them passable. But for a change, it sure is nice not to have to look at a mayor and his horribly unqualified hangers-on strutting around in funny hats acting as though they have the situation under control. Everything was always about them.

So, so true. Sam wearing a Filson hat (a great brand by the way worn by generations of real men, like my dad) and babbling won't soon be forgotten.

I like the Rocky and Bullwinkle hat a lot better than picturing Sam sitting on the couch in his underwear watching cartoons.

It seems as if the application of de-icing chemicals on roads by the city has been discontinued.

Maybe the de-icer chemicals harmed spandex and other un-natural fibers worn by the biker community. Are the bikers in your neighborhood using chains or studded tires?
