Whatever it is, it can wait
We are looking out the window here at bojack.org Storm Center 9000.2, and to our horror we see foolhardy people actually out in the current weather. Not only are these people endangering themselves, but they're also jeopardizing the well-being of first responders who may have to pick them up if they fall in a puddle. People, there is a chance of snow -- repeat, snow -- in Portland! Tri-Met is chaining up all 11 of its buses, and the city has both snow plows ready for operation at any moment. Stay indoors, cancel all activities, and stay tuned to bojack.org Storm Center 9000.2 for the latest updates. Play it safe until you get the all-clear signal from the nearest food cart pod.

Thank you for the update. I must go now. The Sno-Cat awaits for the ride home.

Will someone tell us when we can take the tire chains OFF?
Unless we're told, we have to think those chains are MUCH easier on the pavement than those nasty studs.

I won't start worrying until Sam dons his spiffy hat with the stylish ear flaps and holds a press conference telling me it's gonna snow, but not to worry, he's got it all under control.

I have a bunch of friends from the midwest. The annual snow panic baffled them.
Me:"Don't worry, it baffles all of us. Deep down I think it's kind of like a massive comedy sketch."
I expect Portlandia to cover it soon.

It always amazes me when it snows in Portland, hopefully more people will play it safe on these snow days and not drive too fast because, it's easier than anyone thinks to hit black ice or snow without expecting it on days like today.
