A Jersey curse
The Nets basketball team, which just left the Meadowlands of New Jersey for an "urban renewal" palace in Brooklyn, are playing so badly that today they fired their head coach, Avery Johnson. And get this -- former Blazer head case coach P.J. "Choke" Carlesimo is now taking the helm, at least for a while. Now, there's a recipe for success. Something's growing in Brooklyn, all right, but it ain't a tree.

Now is the winter of the Nets discontent,
Once glorious this past summer by a sonavabitch move to New York;
Et cetera, et cetera....
A coach! A coach! Our corporate box for a coach!

I really like deron Williams as a player but a NY writer wrote last week that " Williams is one evening gown away from being a full blown diva". He's also the main reason why Jerry Sloan quit the Jazz. He was sick and tired of Williams attitude...

Keep PJ, The team here, might win a couple extra games, or not. Using recaps is not a good idea . Cheaper than a new, motivated, coach that makes the players responsible for their actions .

While PJ's stint as a head coach was a disaster, he's quietly built a solid resume as an assistant coach in the NBA. The role of the assistants in the NBA is often to teach, while the role of the head coach is often to manage. Perhaps PJ's found his niche in the assistant role. Look at this promotion as temporary.
