Take the same pool of 30 coaches, stir. Another retread named as NBA head coach. (I assume Larry Brown was unavailable.)

it sounds like D'Antoni will have a real shot at coaching the team. He doesn't have to listen to the general manager at all - he'll report directly to Kobe.

They lucked out. PJax is all done as a real coach, and it would be an expensive disaster. Man I wish that's the direction they would've gone.
