Reality check needed

Early this morning, some clown on a bike reportedly threw a Molotov cocktail at a Portland police car parked across the street from the North Precinct. The guy was immediately arrested. No one was hurt, and there was apparently no damage to property, but that sort of stuff deserves some serious jail time.

Given all the gnashing of teeth over police brutality, I am surprised at this method of recourse.

Bike Bombers?

Anybody know his motivation, or did he watch V For Vendetta a few too many times last night and figure that he's going to make a stand on Guy Fawkes Day?

"...but that sort of stuff deserves some serious jail time."

Yes, but as TTR says....

"Anybody know his motivation...?"

If a Tee Partier, throw away the key.

If an Occupier, slap the wrist.

Remember, hypocrisy is a bug, not a feature.

The usual harsh punishment for bicyclists breaking the law is a short stint in traffic school where bicycling is championed. Now a new lesson plan will be needed: don’t throw Molotov cocktails at police cars from your bike.

He is lucky he did not come at them with a butter knife...bang bang bikey. Hopefully they have room in jail for this idiot.
