Well, random, the story said, "These votes reflect an extraordinary level of public support for overruling Citizens United, which has also been found repeatedly in national polling, most recently an Associated Press poll found that 83 percent of Americans favor limits on the amount of money corporations, unions, and other organizations can spend on our elections. That's more than 8 in 10 Americans."
Come on, Jack, you have to know that's a stupid idea. If corporations lacked the legal protections that caused the Supremes to say they have some of the same rights as people, they couldn't exist, which means most of what we do couldn't take place, at least not on the scale that it does. On the other hand, if you take away one right from corporations, they'll just find ways to get around it.
Are non-profit corporations people? If not, then no one can form any kind of organization for political advocacy. Doesn't that violate the right to free assembly? If they are, then for-profits will just create non-profit arms, just like 501(c)(3) have 501(c)(4) arms.
On the other hand, it is probably just as well that lefties spin their wheels working on something pointless like this.
And in the same breath include Unions and non-profit organizations - in particular environmental organizations - so that all sides and people represernted are treated equal.

...can we declare that labor unions aren't people too?

Truly. This needs to be happening all over, and as quickly as possible.

So what does the mean if they aren't persons?
I mean we don't have a problem making corporations pay taxes, so they deserve some kind of representation don't they?

There's definitely a problem out there, so if it's not this what is it? Is it that our tax structure is a total fiasco? Or is it the election laws?

I blame Bush. (Might as well get as much mileage out of it why we still can.)

I assume these same people will be out front in the effort to repeal corporate taxes.
