Three 'dog pickers go with Thursday's pooch

We've been watching the baseball playoffs and have neglected to mention that three players in our charity pro football underdog game have chosen the Tennessee Titmice tonight:

5 TENNESSEE vs. Pittsburgh - Pete Rozelle, Lucas, Pdxmick

At this writing, the game is tied late. Everybody else in our contest, your pick for the week is due Sunday morning at 10 Pacific.

UPDATE, 8:50 p.m.: Tennessee wins with a field goal with just seconds left. Five points each for the three players.

You each get an A+ for an astute pick. Steelers are having a "middling" season and the Titans were "home" dogs- a recipe for an upset, but you still must have the "verve" (Cajones) to put it on the line early. Congrats, and enjoy the 5 points. genop

Buzzard's luck for the Eagles. They had to play the Steelers last week, always tough the week after the Giants game.

On top of that, it was when Rashard Mendenhall finally came back for the Steelers and crunched the Eagles defense as the offensive star of the game.
Now, a week later, he's back on the sidelines injured again and the Steelers lose.
We had to catch the Steelers on the one week they had a great running back.

Most of this underdog stuff comes down to the final possession. 5 points is a huge pick up on this one because you can't say that the Titans are a better team than the Steelers 9 times out of 10.
