When John Canzano finishes a column about Little Lord Paulson, does Paulson roll over and have a smoke?

Ever since Canzano went to Merritt's house and Merritt showed up at the door barefoot, John has been deeply in love. We could have a Rex Ryan situation going here.
But to answer your question: No, Merritt doesn't have a smoke after John writes a column about him. That's their cuddle time.
Here's another question: would Canzano sell his soul to get a MLB or NHL team in Portland? Being reduced to writing about minor league soccer has got to suck for a guy who thinks so highly of himself.
canzano is no Colin Cowherd. Never was, never will be. Next stop for him is probably to someplace in Alaska. Condolences in advance to all current and future Alaskans.

I read the whole Canzano piece. I want a shower.

Canzano sure takes his time to finish.

Maybe, but I'm willing to bet a bunny suit, a gallon jug of habanero salsa, and a six-foot sandstone strap-on were involved instead.

C'mon play nice. There is so little action on the field, I'm sure Canzano feels the need to invent action off the field.
Besides, once Merritt gets an advance on his allowance from Daddy, he may share some of his new shiny toys with John.

It's the Timbers. Does anyone really care?

I love how Canzano can describe running dead last "a disappointing season."
Ya think?
