Where's Ashley? (cont'd)
The manslaughter suspect in the Burnside hit-and-run was checked out of the King County jail in Seattle this morning. But she's not booked into Multnomah County yet. (In contrast, here's a guy that was booked into Multnomah this evening.) Wonder where the former fugitive is now.
UPDATE, 10:10 p.m.: She's in the 'Couv!

My guess is in the back of a sheriff's car, just outside Tacoma, at a McDonald's eating her last supper on the road for the next 10 years.

In the 'Couv?
That's "cruel and unusual punishment."

What a waste of scarce funds putting her in 3 jails (so far) before getting her back to face the music. What's the point?

I think she should get double credit for time served in Vancouver.

There's probably an issue with crossing state lines. They'll probably send someone up from Portland to pick her up, along with anyone else that's transferring.

Is this not a bit obsessive? She's not hard on the eyes but it seems her transit is getting more attention than it deserves. Maybe I missed the memo on why this is so fascinating.

Seth...my guess is that she is getting less attractive with each passing day. Time in jail has a funny way of doing that.
