O website's new look debuts
Same old skimpy stuff, repackaged. Is the change somehow related to ceasing publication of a daily dead-tree edition? Only time will tell.

So far not so easy to navigate if you are working from a smaller screen. Somehow I get the impression web designers sit in front of very large desktop displays to create their new visions. I read it most days, I'll probably get used to it.

I would say it is generally not a good thing when people mistake your new design for a horrendous flash banner ad that has taken up the whole screen, which is what I thought when I first saw this today.

terrible "re-design." looks like a high school yearbook gone wrong.

Two words to describe it: It Sucks.

People who think they have to use every bell and whistle in web page design should be placed in stocks in Pioneer square for public ridicule.

Please O make it stop moving and reloading! I can't focus. I receive and read the print copy. After coffee I enjoy "new news" and check sources on the O spin.

Wow. The print is really BIG and everything looks shiny. It's giving me a headache looking at it.

Don't forget the classic "Internet Help Desk" when the web designers lead us forward:

Wow. Do Not Want. The huge bold text hurts my eyes like everyone else says. Ugh.

Designed in response to Oregonian reader suggesions? Ha. It is the exact template introduced by the Times Picayune when they cut back to 3-days a week print. See: http://www.nola.com/
Another Newhouse (Advance Publications) newspaper. Brace yourself for the announcement.

the font is horrible.

The format is ugly, especially the bold, squat typeface. It looks like trying to fill a page with larger type, because of less news.
