Funky cold Medina, Washington

According to the IRS, that little enclave near Bellevue was one of the 30 richest zip codes in the country, with 1,425 tax returns averaging $506,000 of income for the year 2008.

The top 3, 4 of the top 5 and 5 of the top 10 richest counties are basically suburbs of Washington, DC.

At least you know where your tax dollars are going.
