Neighbors beat back cell tower monstrosity on Foster

We blogged a while back about the neighborhood battle against a proposed Verizon cell tower array at SE 69th and Foster. Lo and behold, the neighbors won before the city hearings officer! Of course, the City Council can reverse that decision -- just ask the grammar school next door to the new SoWhat immigration jail. But so far, so good for the affected residents down on the Flats.

One would think that with about 8 of these fights going on around town, that the City Council would lay out some new resident-friendly rules for siting cell phone towers.

But apparently one would be wrong.
