Somebody could have died

That Portland transportation bureau equipment that was blocking a fire hydrant in Southeast Portland the other night was pretty disgusting -- especially when you consider that just after midnight, a nearby apartment complex was evacuated with fire alarms going off. Fortunately, it turned out to be a false alarm, but the bozos from the city who parked there should be disciplined in way they won't forget. Can you imagine if it had been a real fire?

This calls for a swift and immediate listening session!

City hall (and the rest) long ago realized they can do whatever they want without any public consequences.
They appear to have extended that luxury to the city employees.

What a special system they have created.

It's totally inexcusable.

Gee, it would have been a shame if the "equipment" had burst into flames. Dammed vandals.

The government does not care what you think, only what you owe.
