Mac the Attacked still cares

Run out of public office by the government employees' unions in 2008 for daring to reform their pensions -- even modestly -- former Oregon Rep. Greg Macpherson nonetheless continues to take an interest in what's going on in Salem. The latest edition of his occasional report on the legislature can be found here.

I know he was a decent thoughtful guy, and honestly discussed the issues the two times I met him in person.

Greg is indeed top notch. Smart, honest, well educated, and professional. With guts enough to stand up for what he thinks is right.

Is it meaningful that his email at the bottom of his totally noncommittal and totally non revealing rundown is "votemac@gmail.com"?
