Theater of the absurd
The TV commercials leading up to the upcoming elections include some real howlers. Now Gatsby Wyden's taking credit for Google siting a server farm out in the Dalles. The best part is where the mayor out there comes on and says, "I'm a Republican and I love Ron Wyden."
No kidding, buddy.

That mayor just rested my case as well.

In the airwave wars, I think the best you can hope for is both sides drown out each other so it entices folks to other means of rating the candidates. You've got corporate monies this year competing against the usual public employee union monies. I wouldn't be opposed to removing both monies from the scene, but all Wyden really attempts with the Disclose act is to remove the corporate monies while allowing union monies to continue on unimpeded.
