Change your happy hour appetizer plans

An interesting couple of e-mail messages today from Maria Lisa Johnson, head of the City of Portland's Human Rights Commission (and street renaming cabal). First this one:

Then a short time later, this one:

What happened? Did the meeting get cancelled? Too bad for the people who were hoping for some good eats.

I notice they have some religious events in there as well. Is it okay to do that in government offices even if it is on your lunch time?

Probably recalled because it announces a meeting date of "Wednesday October 6th, 2010". It's the bane of cut and paste technology...

Maybe the meeting is still on, then. I hope so -- them New Seasons deli items is mighty tasty.

The deli stuff from Oct 6 probably went bad.

Looks like someone took away Ms. Johnson's credit card. I hope Mississippi Pizza can stay in business.

Why does Portland need a "human rights commision"?!?!?!?!

Can't they just all sit and hold hands while singing Kumbyaya? Sip their free-trade, hand-picked from shaded slopes coffee and be done with it? Would serve same purpose.
What rubbish.
