More thought George W Bush was a chimpanzee. I would say close to half of Democrats and almost all Progressives.

Let's be fair: George W Bush was a psychopathic war criminal with a dull, mediocre mind who enjoyed inflicting pain on others and used religion to make up for the vast missing parts of his soul - but he was not a chimpanzee.
