Have you ever had the experience of realizing you really, really like an artist and can't say why? I've been a Neil Young fan since "Everybody Knows This is Nowhere" days, and couldn't really explain why. His voice is, charitably, not really very good. There are better guitar players. Sometimes his lyrics are cryptic to the point of insensibility. But I have a hard time turning him off, and drove my college roommate (and, later, my future bride) to distraction playing the grooves off a bunch of his LPs (especially "Journey Through the Past," an amazing soundtrack).
Great Labor Day Friday pick. I look forward to these.

Thanks for the Neil Young. You can keep that coming for months on end and I would be as happy as a Pie Off judge.
Here is a video of David Gilmour doing a live acoustic version of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" that I have been enjoying for the last couple of days.

Check this video with Paul McCartney..."Day in a Life" filmed in Hyde Park Live in 2009.
