I'm sure Al is a good driver and all, but why on earth would anyone think it's okay to blog, or contribute to a blog by having someone film you while you're behind the wheel? In addition to being a distraction, it seems very self-serving...no matter how skilled he thinks he is behind the wheel. This makes no sense, especially on the heels of the recent tragedy.

I disagree with Al's assertion that "the critics are people who just hate his blog.
I have enjoyed Al's blogging for a long time, but I also ride the bus frequently, and while they're on the clock, I want bus drivers to be focused on their driving -- not chatting on the phone, and not working on a blog entry. Al's assertion that "there is no distraction taking place" during his blog interviews is hard to believe.
