Super Carole cans Jefferson High principal, business manager

Hard to fathom, but it happened today. A deputy superintendent has taken over the North Portland high school.

"This does not stem from, nor does it affect, the high school redesign process," Shelby said.
Wait a minute. The school board says it wants to close the school, and a few days later the principal is pulled from her post -- and the two aren't connected?

Forgive me if I don't believe that one -- at least, not before morning.
