What is really sickening is how common this is, to use the sacred world to celebrate 'me' and the widows mite for extravagant self serving - "For the children" of course. As in our government, how could that possibly relate to the stated purpose or sworn duty?

Except you misquoted the newspaper article, which states that "accounting principals" are involved here, not "accounting principles.":)
