The next Blazer?
Rumor has it it's forward Tyrus Thomas of the Bulls. The Blazers drafted Thomas four years ago and immediately traded him to the Bulls for LaMarcus Aldridge. Thomas missed nearly two months of this season with a broken arm. [Photo courtesy Keith Allison.]

The word is "center" Blazers. Trade for a "center." Are they running some sort of experiment to see if you can have a team consisting entirely of forwards?

They don't have a low-post forward. And they have way too much shooting guard.

Y'know, Brandon said he likes Ze-bo and that he's changed his life and the Grizzlies are not the sharpest mgmt -
Just sayin' because there ain't a lot of frontcourt talent out there.

While this wouldn't entirely shock me, I'd be very very skeptical of ANYTHING Yahoo! Sports posts as news or rumors... They are notorious for not only being wrong, but wrong in ridiculous ways.

If Thomas ended up here, he'd spend some of his time backing up LMA at PF, but I'd guess a majority of his time would be spent at C.
If he can stop the bleeding in the paint it would be interesting.

My only hope is that Oden will be part of the deal, but I hope we don't have to give up too much with him to get Thomas.

I don't think any deal is going to come down before the deadline, but if we were going to give up Oden, it better be for David Lee.
