Looks like another reason not to move to the Couve. Can't cut down your own trees and then getting busted by Google. This sucks...

It isn't legal to remove most trees from your own lot in Portland without a permit either...

Yeah, Michael -- unless your name is Peter Stott. You can still see the devastation up there on the hills above town where he mowed down some magnificant firs for his view.
