Just deserts
Anti-spam technology has come a long way in recent years. No longer does spam clog our inboxes (and blog comments) with unwanted commercial junk. Still, the scars from the days when the spam plague was rampant in cyberspace are still quite visible. Which is why this story is so gratifying.

I think it also appropriate that for his three meals a day he would be served a diet of....Spam.

Just deserts? Are they sending him to the Sahara or the Mojave?
And I agree with John - he should have to eat Spam prepared like it was ham, the way my mother used to.

The title of this post reminds of the lady who made a quilt in the early 90's honoring Iraq War veterans.
She was mortified when someone pointed out that she had stitched "Dessert Storm" into the pattern.

"Deserts" means (among other things) what you deserve. "Desserts" are after dinner. "Just desserts" is wrong. Please Google and see that I got it right.
