A guy with guts

If I'm not mistaken, that's Representative Lew Frederick in the back row on the left in this photo of today's demonstration against police violence in Portland.

From that O-rag-onian article today:

Humphreys, who filed a stress disability claim last week, also faces a proposed two week unpaid suspension for his role in the Chasse case. Humphreys knocked Chasse to the ground and, along with two other officers, struggled with him before taking him into custody.

"struggled with him"????

He was beat to death!

I doubt they are even struggling with their consciences. And that includes the police union "leadership" and Mayor Adams, Commish Saltzman, and the rest of those protoplasmic blobs on City Council, and their PR goons.

Ooh, look at the time. Guess we gotta "put this behind us and move on." Charette, anyone?

Anna Griffin's still telling us that Humphreys "fell on" Chasse. At least she also points out that he kicked him.

God bless you, Bogdanski. If you read Blogtown, you'd be able to see what Frederick actually had to say at the rally.

So how long was this protest allowed to go on before the cops busted it up with horses and pepper spray?

Hey Matt Davis, no blog pimping.

I don't read Blogtown. It's just not the same without Amy there to cover stuff up.
