Bean goes to the fights
"Ultimate fighting" is not our cup of tea, but our friend Bean is following it. He attended last night's card at the Rose Garden, and he files his usual knowledgable and thoughtful report here.

I'm still for converting the Memorial Coliseum into a Jousting Arena using solar powered ATVs in place of horses.
A few jersey barriers with a Life Flight landing pad and away we go.
Not to forget a Haz-Mat team to collect the body fluids.

With the noted exception that the parties are willing participants, the thought going through my head when I see clips of this is "human cockfighting".
