C'mon Jack, we all know that correlation is not causation.
Just because they're cutting jobs in the police force and closing entire precincts, doesn't mean that violent crime will rise! That's just an example of post hoc ergo propter hoc. Afterward, therefore, because of.

Meanwhile- we spotted Sam Adams yesterday at noon on his way to the Burgerville Mobile on Naito. By the camera folks around him we surmised it was another "face" moment meant to endear him to his Portland Public. Ewwwwwwww.

Unfortunately I think it's going to get worse before it gets better. Couple a horrible economy with Oregon and local cities doing all they can to drive businesses out, even if one wanted to 'straighten up' there's not much out there for them.
