I stand corrected. Denver could lose the division and the no. 2 spot according to the NBA's rules.
What is confusing to me is why is the NBA site displaying Denver as the winner of the Northwest Division? Am I reading the same site wrong? Maybe I am wondering about a minor matter.
YOB: Denver wins the division because they would have the tiebreaker in a 2-team tie with the Blazers. But that does not necessarily get them the 2 seed, because in a 3-team tie based on record only, different tiebreaker rules apply and Portland could come out on top of the 3-team heap.

Just seems kind of premature to hand out division winners until the last game of the season has been played.

No, obviously the Lakers won their division long ago.

I can't believe the guy from Denver who drained 11 3-pointers last night.

I can't get over the guy on Belmont who drained 3 40-ouncers.

Belmont's moving up. We don't drink 40-ouncers from paper bags anymore - just reusable cloth ones.
