Look who's back

UPDATE, 11:56 p.m.: Rather than taking up blog entry space with the latest Odenics, we've decided to institute a new sidebar feature, the Oden-ometer, which will appear starting tomorrow. When Greg does well, it's the guy on the left; when he doesn't, it's the guy on the right:

Hey! Rip off! Where's my 'don't worry'??

So let me get this straight. The guy on the left will be the symbol for doing well. You really were back east in the 70s.

Man that was a hard game to watch. Aside from Roy and Aldridge, everyone looked flat. And they didn't exactly impress either.

The Tale of Two Odens,

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times ... ...

I knew he was a joke when he started blabbering about Obama.

Aside from Roy and Aldridge, everyone looked flat.

How'd you like that fast break pass from Roy that bounced off the back of Aldridge's head?

You really were back east in the 70s.

Wrong.

Walton is one of the main reasons the Blazers have ever gone all the way. But yes, from an injury standpoint, he was a disaster.

At least he did something in the pro ranks before he turned 45, which Oden hasn't done.

Walton might have been the greatest passing center ever in the history of the NBA. He played so few games though we may never know for sure. Oden will be lucky to play as many NBA games as Walton did.

I really do hope the best for Oden, he seems like such a gentle giant. I just lean your direction when it comes to doubting his ability and durability. He still looks lost to me, and I recognize that look as I am someone who can't find his own car in the parking lot half the time.

Brilliant move, Jack.
