Don't eat the Whole Foods burgers
There's a recall on.
UPDATE, 9:51 p.m.: The recall has spread to some Fred Meyer stores, and now apparently not all Whole Foods stores are affected.

Oregon beef is just fine. Your one sentence did not have enough info. and clicking on "recall" got nothing.

Whole Foods ground beef in Northern California stores safe to eat

Whole Foods Market is voluntarily recalling more than 1 million pounds of ground beef because of a possible E. coli outbreak.
But Bay Area residents can rest easy: beef sold in the store's 24 Northern California locations is not involved, said spokeswoman Vanessa Cornish.
Whole Foods on Friday announced the multi-state recall of fresh ground beef it sold between June 2 and August 6. There is concern that the beef, which apparently came from Coleman Natural Beef's Nebraska Beef processing plant, may be contaminated with E. coli bacteria.
Whole Foods stores in Northern California get their beef from Country Natural Beef in Oregon, a supplier not listed in the beef recall, Cornish said.

See the update. The link has been fixed. It looks as though Whole Foods stores in our area may be o.k. But now Fred Meyer stores may not be!

Yeah, most of that midwestern 'natural' beef popping up in supermarkets is a sham. Look for Country Natural Beef (Oregon Country Beef)...
