Wow. A trailer park in Yosemite with T1 connection. I'm so there! Why be bored with the stale view of Halfdome or those annoying twinkling stars when you could be having a real experience here on Jack Bog's Blog? I'm glad someone has their vacation priorities right.
Howdy from Yosemite Pines RV Park!.....Well, when you travel with geeks (aged 5 to 65 with 4 Macs and three iPhones) what else would you do after pounding the trails all day and wrastlin' with black bears but immediately check out the news back in Portland! Oh, and one of the geeks is a former alum of the law school. (Hi Jack).
We're working this vacation hard. Last night we used our favorite geeky device (Sky Scout by Celestron) and even with a full moon found dozens of those twinkling stars :)
Today we're going to pan for gold and then back to civilization where we can blend back into the silent readers of the Great Bog.

I just got back from Lazy Bend, and even before my shower, I logged on to see what was up. If I had my stinking 3G iPhone like I had been promised, I might not have had to wait. But alas, I was digitally deprived for THREE WHOLE DAYS!!!
On a good note, I got to wake every morning to the beautiful rushing river's sound and was serenaded by the frogs at night. I don't say it much but what a beautiful part of the world we live in.

You won't hardly find an RV park these days without broadband. And, of course, cable TV hookups.
