Out in force
Greeting I-5 commuters from the Corbett Street overpass as they made their way northbound into downtown this morning: a huge homemade Novick for Senate banner, and several of the Hook's supporters. Dudes!

they've done a great job with those "visibility groups." I've seen them on several ocassions, and as goofy as it sounds I think the enthusiasm kinda rubs off. By God, those people look pretty stoked about Steve, don't they?
By contrast, I have yet to see any "visibility" from Merkley. I guess when you can only rustle up 35% of your contributions from Oregonians, it's hard to find folks to get excited for you.

When I did my first one in New Hampshire in 1984 we called them "Honk & Waves."
