Make room on the shelf for the Oscars
We just got back from a rare trip to a movie theater. There we partook of an amazing film -- wildly entertaining, smart, funny, and with serious political and religious implications.
The flick fell short in only one respect: It was able to portray only the second most ridiculous city council anywhere.

At least the Whoville City Council was doing the people's business in public.
Plus, they had the good sense to recognize they were wrong when their very survival was threatened.
We enjoyed the movie, but it was too long for a 3.5 year old. I'm glad it wasn't full of potty humor like Shrek.
