Interesting case and some fantastic lawyering by a dedicated group of defenders. In particular, a guy named Ted Vosk grabbed a hold of the thread and kept pulling until the whole thing unraveled. The court order can be read here:

It is a good read. I'm fairly sure that none of the techs involved will be prosecuted by the state for what they've done
