nearly every "charrette" held in this fashion is superficial nonsense. good intentions but a genuinely lousy way to think things through. it makes participants feel warm and fuzzy, though, so criticizing it makes unwitting greenwashers uncomfortable.
but it's how we do things today--fast, fast, fast. if it doesn't fit in a spreadsheet, it isn't too important. sin in haste, repent at leisure. it's the American Way.

Under the main heading "Methodology Update " All the subs are " How can we screw the taxpayer through lying, clever speak, and or criminal ways and means."
Ala Ross Perot " That giant sucking sound" is Sam, the scam fleecing the citizens again.
'they' tried that with the Burnside Bridgehead project too 4 plus years ago.
The ONLY way to fight this crapola is to speak out! Take charge of 'event' by having lots of folks attend, call in the press, and ask to have individuals speak. Be respectful, stay calm (it's hard to do sometimes, and offer all sorts of alternative plans, even if they don't make sense.
If you can't change the outcome one can at least postpone it with a bit of luck and moxie.

There are so many claims made by officials pushing boondoggles. They've been given a pass for years without any consequences for making things up.
If it aint documented it doesn't exist.
With mammouth schemes such as SoWa the fabrications were many.
Warning! OHSU editorial from the O coming. Editor Bob Caldwell's wife is the communications director for OHSU.
It will be the biggest load of misinformation and nonsense ever.
