I think this time around we trade the high pick for an established veteran - not too old - and then add Greg Oden to the mix and watch it all go BOOM!

The Sonics are 3-14 and they have their first round draft pick(s).

The Blazers don't need the #1 pick, anything in the top 5 should be great.
Which direction they go porbably depends on where the players line up in picks and how our role players perfrom this year.
The way I see it Oden, Aldridge and Roy are the cornerstones. We need to figure out whether PG or SF is the bigger hole based on how the various incumbants do.
At some point packaging expiring contracts with the guys we don't see keeping may make sense, but only if we don't get stuck with more lame contracts. I think Pritchard is being very carefull to have all his cap room hiting at the same time, maybe a play for Paul?
