Bush immediately appeals to the Supreme Court; Justice Clarence Thomas issues an injunction against holding the award ceremony pending a further hearing.

I think he won the Nobel for being "Father of the Internet" or becoming a father, on INTERSTATE Ave.
Rumor has it Tipper closed her store, during the election and Al found relief from several of our "Working Girls" on Interstate Ave.

This confirms the rumor that tne Nobel people are a PAC for the Ford Foundation.

I heard the annoucnement on TV this morning and they actually said more world conflicts and wars will be caused by global warming and Al Gore and the IPCC are helping to prevent them.
There is simply no end to this fraud.

It's like when he appeared on SNL in the jacuzzi. You just can't follow either with a bid for the presidency. Such a bummer.

Ben, your comment might benefit from some punctuation. Too many conjunctions for comprehension.

No blood for air conditioning! Seriously though...the mean temperature went up like 1.3 degrees in the last 100 years, and thats going to cause wars? What if its just a "dry" heat?
Sounds to me like they were trying to make up a reason to give him the "peace" prize.

"Sounds to me like they were trying to make up a reason to give him the "peace" prize."
Well, they made up a reason to give him an Oscar. How else to you award the prize for best documentary to a work of fiction?

Global warming will have serious consequences on fresh water supplies, and water supplies have been, and will be, at the heart of many small scale conflicts. Look at the struggle between Israel and Lebanon over the Litani River, for example. The same will play out in Asia, Africa, and other parts of the Middle East.

For all the nay sayers on global warming...stay tuned.
Water is the new oil.

"Water is the new oil."
Yeeha!! All of us Portlanders will be rich!

Peace? It's un-American.

"Global warming will have serious consequences on fresh water supplies"
How utterly contrived.
And when are these consequences supposed to be evident? In a 1000 years, like when the Greenland ice is supposed to be done melting?
Gee I wonder if man will be able to overcome this calamity?
We better have Metro planners start planning for 1000 years from now. They're so good at 20 and 40 years out we should be OK!

If there was ever any doubt as to the subjective nature of awarding a "Peace" prize, it is no longer in doubt.
One man's peace is a another man's slavery.

Gore's doing something most of us are not: trying to make a positive difference in the world.
for those readers quick to jerk their knees, he shared the prize with 1,000 other scientists.
so, surely, all a hoax. hundreds of scientists with nothing more than a misguided notion and a secret liberal agenda, fronted by a charlatan, seeking to fool us all.
be sure to rosin up those bows as you fiddle while Rome burns, dear readers.
