The real mystery

What is a guy like this doing playing the lottery in the first place?

It appears as though he has a significant grocery budget to keep up with. I'm glad it was only a $1,000 because I would have absolutely puked if he won $1 million or more. What a pig.

He's the only kind of guy who should be playing the lottery. Otherwise, it's just a tax on low-income, math-challenged people.

Though I didn't get much sleep last night, I don't see your point...

Paying for schools, and having fun!

Well, I've always said that the lottery is a tax on stupidity, and Big Jim just puts the finish on that observation.

A real contender for Worst.Congressman.Ever. A true fascist, and a real stain on Wisconsin's generally progressive tradition.

The mathematical odds are that anyone who wins that much at state sponsored gambling is losing a lot more. No one beats the state lottery (any state lottery), whose odds are way worse than Vegas.

Somewhere down the road, we'll read a sad story about Congressman Jim entering a treatment program for gambling addiction after having pissed his family fortune away on the lottery and other, uh, "gaming" entertainment.

What, you cant play for fun?
