That does make a nice puzzle. But it would take a week to slog through the details, and then another week to sleep over the possible answers -- for me at least. (But then I'd likely get lost in one or more tangents before returning to the point of interest . . .) It is good that at least someone is still cognizant of economics and concerned with maintaining a fair playing field.
