Yeah, let's whip up some good old-fashioned outrage. That'll help get folks in line to pass his bill. Obviously, George has never heard of the rule of unintended consequences.
But as a former Texas governor so succinctly put it:

That quote from Ann Richards was, of course, about President Bush's father, but your historical ignorance can be forgiven - it's only a blog.
