For what it's worth, the NBA has often been accused of being rigged. There's a silly blog at RiggedNBA.com - and I remember a few years ago when Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban even threatened to commission a poll of NBA fans to determine how many of their own fans believe that the refs unduly influence the games. Here's a report of an incident when Cuban yelled at Commish David Stern - "your game is rigged!"
