My plastic scraper was no match for the slush on my windshield. At first I thought squeegee, but couldn't find it....at a loss, and starting to panic, as a last resort, I turned on my windshield wipers. Pheeeew!....close call, but they worked.
And then to navigate the dreaded Terwilliger curves on I-5 NB.....slow and jammed and WET! My commute dragged well into 18 minutes today, as opposed to the usual 15 or so.
Where is the outrage?

I have a question for Storm Center 9000: Do you think this bad weather we're having could force them to cancel the Rose Festival Parade?

This roving reporter personally witnessed snow at the east end of the Caldecott Tunnel near Berkeley yesterday. OMG, it's everywhere!!! Must be that global warming thing I keep hearing about.

OHSU has announced that because of the inclement weather, the Tram [rimshot] will be operating on its snow route today, with service upward ending at Barbur Boulevard.

WESTSIDE REPORT: Nearly a centimeter of snow had piled up the on lawns & decks in the greater Bethany area this morning. Snow removal equipment was at the ready, but thankfully not needed due to the great thaw of 10:00am. Currently partly cloudy, 39.9 degrees F and dropping fast. Let's stay frosty, people. Looks like were in for at least one more night of frigid, unpredictable weather.
