Col. Summers Park: toxic waste landfill?

There's a fascinating post here about the history of one of the green spots in Portland's Buckman neighborhood.

If a couple of people I knew in a previous life are to be believed, we may also want to check into the history of the land underneath the Red Cross building on North Vancouver.
