Speaking of comebacks
It looks as though Rob Saltzman is cranking his blog, About It All - Oregon, back up for a new series. And he's reporting that Donald Trump is trying to open a casino in Portland.
Whatever may happen with The Donald's alleged plan, I hope that Rob can find time to have a long and successful run with his revived blog. He's been missed.

Could Trump's "local partners" be those two guys in L.O. who seemed to have millions for the casino ballot initiative?

I was thinking that too Rob. It seems like this would be for the 'proposed' casino at the old Greyhound track in Fairview.

Right on The Donald. Let him build the casino hotel, baseball stadium and affordable housing in Lloyd Center, all with his own money. Teddy K could have a job as a greeter, Paul Allen could have the sports betting bar. The Blazers could run the hookers. Myself, I want the cheese steak and salt water taffey concession.

Reuters has retracted the Oregon references from the article. The Don is no longer looking at our fair State:

Easy come, easy go.
Although it woulda been nice to get The Donald to pay from MLB in PDX, a new Greyhound gambling facility, and hundreds of millions for schools each year.
Oh well, we still have the Indian Casinos.
