Twelfth Night

Today's the Feast of the Epiphany -- "little Christmas," celebrating the three wise men dropping in from the East to check out Baby J.C. Don't know about you, but most of our Christmas stuff is very much in evidence, at least until tomorrow. Twelve lords a-leaping, baby. Merry little Christmas to all those inclined to mark the day.

'Magicks' is the old-time word for astrologers, who could read the writing on the ceiling sky, and who could interpret allusions. If thinking of joining the club don't wait for someone else's licensing or permissions. All it takes is being born under the appropriate configuration and then growing up to realize it, epiphanously, somehow, without hints or the tip-off from any of the all-disapproving. Oh, and some self-acceptance.

A very Merry 12th Night to you Jack. All my Christmas decorations, tree, etc. are still up. Don't like to take them down before Epiphany. Will start the sad packing tomorrow.
But it's a Happy new year. Oaths of office for Clackamas County Mon. evening and in L.O. Tuesday evening. Oh happy day!
